An interdisciplinary team under the direction of chief surgeon Dr. Werner Hauck has been successfully providing endoprosthetic care for damaged hip, knee and shoulder joints for decades.
According to the highest quality standards, experts from the Specialist Department for Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery of Internal Medicine, Vascular Surgery, Radiology, Anaesthesia and Physiotherapy as well as nursing staff and technical orthopaedics work closely together.
The EndoProstheticsCenter (EndoProthetikZentrum – EPZ) provides comprehensive care for patients from initial treatment, diagnostics and therapy through to aftercare and rehabilitation. In the EPZ, the entire operative range of joint replacement for hip and knee is performed for first and second surgeries. We offer our patients state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including gentle, minimally invasive surgical methods.
The center stands for individual, differentiated endoprosthetics with precise surgical procedures and modern implant concepts. In order to ensure the best possible quality for patients, the Endoprosthetics Center only works with renowned implant manufacturers.
EndoCert® certification
At the end of 2013 and again in March 2017, the Department of Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery was successfully certified as a Maximum Care EndoProsthetics Center in accordance with “EndoCert®”.
